The HQ team recently held a team development day in Edinburgh.
The 14 members of the HQ Team met at the Edinburgh Conference Centre, then after the essential morning teas and coffees, we began by splitting into our retrospective teams (Learning & Development, Admin and Panel and Review).
The Admin Team focused on “Communication” – and took part in a number of fun but informative activities which included blindfolds, colouring pens and play doh! All members of the team agreed that although the activities were fun and light-hearted, they fitted in well and were very relevant to the communication theme.
As lunch time approached, we made our way into the City Centre and ate in the busy but delicious Cosmo World Buffet restaurant. Refreshed and replenished, we then headed to Escape for the afternoon. Escape is team building activity whereby you are locked in a room full of clues and puzzles, and you have an hour to complete the tasks in order to release the key and get out of the room.
We worked in teams to solve the mysteries and everyone managed to complete the puzzles and “escape” from the rooms.
A good day was had by all, and we would like to thank Amanda Colvin for her hard work in organising the day!
