The fun-packed ‘Adventure Golf Island’ in Dunfermline hosted a group of children who had completed the ‘Young Leader’ course, run by Sports Leaders UK. The evening was an opportunity to present their certificates and to reward them for completing the course.
The group were split in two and set off around the indoor crazy golf course. Scores were being kept with the lowest score being the winner, however one of the young people thought it was the other way around as he was using a lot of shots to put the ball in the hole (20 shots on one occasion!).
The two groups worked their way around the course and all seemed to be engaging with each other and enjoying the session, despite the cool evening.
At the end of the session, the certificates were presented to the young people by our Swiis Foster Care Fife Team Manager, Louise Findlay. After the presentation, the young people went outside, and as it was a bit on the cool side, some of them had a nice hot drink.
Well done to everyone who attended the golf and completed the ‘Young Leader’ course – you should all be very proud of yourselves!
