Today has been a day of mixed emotions for the Permanence fostering team in Dunfermline.

Saying our farewells

Claire De Brito, the senior practitioner with the team for the past five years, is leaving to move to a new post with Fife Council. Claire has been a very important member of the team, supporting the growth and direction of the service. Her knowledge and wisdom have been recognised by everyone in the team, as well as her foster carers. We are going to miss her but we wish her well with her new challenge.

Nadia Crawford, supervising social worker in the team, is also leaving today to begin her maternity leave. The team gave her a big send off with a Baby Shower – including ‘The price is Right’, nappy messages and baby cup cakes! We hope Nadia will enjoy the rest before the excitement of a new baby boy in July.
